International innovation zone breaks ground in Lin-gang

Construction began on Nov 1 on a joint R&D center for artificial intelligence and the life sciences in the Lin-gang Special Area in Shanghai, which marked the groundbreaking of a major International Collaborative Innovation Zone there.

Covering 116.6 square kilometers in the southwest of Lin-gang Special Area, Haiwan special functional area lies east of Jinhui Port, south of S3 Shanghai-Fengxian Expressway-Lianggang Avenue, and west of Zhonggang.

Measuring 114.6 square kilometers, Fengcheng friendly living area covers the region east to Hulu (Shanghai-Luchao Port) Expressway-Liufeng Highway-Wahong Road, north to Dazhi Stream, west to Hangtang Port-S3 Hufeng (Shanghai-Fengxian) Expressway, and south to Lianggang Avenue.
