The Pudong Lingang Kindergarten Affiliated to East China Normal University – a new school, which opened on Sept 1 – is located at the junction of Luoshenhua Road and Yunhao Road in the Lin-gang Special Area, in East China's Shanghai city.

The kindergarten has 22 classrooms and each classroom has a playroom, a nap room and a bathroom.

The school is equipped with seven special activity rooms for reading, science, handicrafts and more, in accordance with the standards of high-quality kindergartens.

Seven classes opened this year and each class has two teachers and a child-care worker.

The kindergarten has adopted the teaching approach of holding theme weeks. Teachers design and arrange the walls and classrooms according to the different themes.
