The Shanghai Astronomy Museum – the largest of its kind globally – offers education, exhibitions, research, collections and interactive features.

During the summer – from July 1 to Aug 31 – it hosts a special Museum Night every Saturday from 5 pm to 8 pm. Activities include night sky observations, spaceship simulations and cosmic archaeology exhibitions, providing visitors with a fascinating and memorable astronomical experience.

China Maritime Museum

From July 6 to Aug 31, the China Maritime Museum will host a Museum Night every Saturday from 4:30 pm to 8 pm. Visitors can explore the special exhibition on ancient Chinese boat culture and learn about the rich maritime history of the country.

Open: 4:30 pm - 8 pm, Saturdays, July 6 - Aug 31 (last entry at 7:30 pm)

Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park

During the summer, the Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park offers a variety of activities centered around the Orca Wave Festival. These include water fights, evening parties, anime-themed parties and mermaid shows. Additionally, the park features a daily starlight night session and weekend fireworks displays for a fun summer outing.

Duoyun Bookstore Dishui Lake branch

On July 19, July 26 and Aug 1, from 7 pm to 9:30 pm, the Duoyun Bookstore Dishui Lake branch will offer a special Late Night Desk deal.

For a fee, visitors can enjoy two and a half hours of reserved seating, a drink and a snack.

Turing Market

Every weekend during the summer, the Turing Market comes alive from 6 pm to 10 pm. Visitors can enjoy music, lights, food stalls, cultural performances, interactive games and unique crafts. The vibrant market atmosphere by Dishui Lake offers a delightful evening experience.
