The 2024 COMAC Supplier Conference and the Lin-gang Special Area Civil Aviation Industry Promotion Conference were held in the Lin-gang Special Area, in East China's Shanghai on March 27.

The Lin-gang area's civil aviation sector – led by the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, or COMAC – has seen rapid growth, attracting key groups and forming a cluster covering core segments of the industry supply chain.

With a focus on batch production and commercial takeoffs, Lin-gang aims to be a crucial base for China's civil aviation industry. The Large Aircraft Industrial Park, spanning 24.7 square kilometers, has emerged as one of  26 in Shanghai's first group of industrial parks.

Moving forwards, plans are for Lin-gang to deepen cooperation with COMAC, introduce special policies and to accelerate the development of the aviation industry – creating a dynamic hub with a complete industry supply chain and strong support for core suppliers.
