SORSA sets up branch in Lin-gang Special Area

Lin-gang Special Area welcomed its first overseas returnees association, the Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association (SORSA) Lin-gang Branch, on July 28.

As a non-governmental organization for high-level talent, SORSA has more than 16,000 members. The organization is dedicated to providing services for enterprises and overseas returnees in Shanghai.

Lin-gang will implement more competitive policies and provide more services to attract investment and talent, according to Zhu Zhisong, deputy secretary-general of the Shanghai Municipal Government and executive deputy director of the Lin-gang Special Area Administration.

Zhu added that the Lin-gang Special Area will open its arms to global entrepreneurial talent to join the army of pioneers growing together with Lin-gang.

After the opening ceremony, officials from the Lin-gang Special Area Administration introduced relevant work plans, talent and industrial polices at the international innovation cooperation forum.
