Lin-gang Special Area in Shanghai celebrated a significant transportation achievement on Aug 8 with the opening of the X2 Road (Hucheng Ring Road - Lianggang Avenue).

This new road, spanning about 1.2 kilometers, offers a smoother travel experience for residents as it connects the main urban area of Lin-gang Special Area with Shuyuan town and Wanxiang town.

The X2 Road features six lanes for faster vehicles and two lanes for slower traffic. The road includes two bridges over rivers and one utility bridge that protects oil and gas pipelines over a lake.

A crucial addition to Lin-gang's transportation network, the X2 Road links key areas such as the main urban zone, Shuyuan town, and Wanxiang town, thus improving overall connectivity. The road also complements existing routes and strengthens travel between these three areas.
