The Shanghai Flower Port, the large and expansive flower park located in the Nanhui New City area in the Pudong district of East China's – renowned for its tulips – is gearing up for its grand opening and will start trial operations on March 16.

The park's annual inauguration ceremony is set for March 23, marking the official launch of the tulip exhibition. Running to April 21, this year's expo promises to be a 30-day visual extravaganza of floral delights.

Celebrated for its vast scale, diverse varieties and amazing plant designs, the tulip exhibition at Shanghai Flower Port attracts countless visitors each year who revel in the sights and scents of spring.

With over 3 million bulbs and more than 500 varieties of tulips, hyacinths and daffodils, the colorful array of flowers is a mesmerizing spectacle.

This year, the Flower Port is introducing eight new attractions and experiences – including a pink beach, train, flower boat rides and pick-your-own flower patches – promising even more fun and thrills for visitors.
