Shanghai is set to add another exciting attraction to its summer entertainment lineup with the grand opening of the L+SNOW Water World on May 31.

Located in the Lin-gang Special Area, the water park, spanning approximately 20,000 square meters, features a unique indoor-outdoor double-decker design. It boasts 26 thrilling water slides, 19 engaging water activities, and picturesque features like an infinity pool, catering to visitors of all ages.

The Water World caters to those seeking thrills as well as those looking for something more relaxed. The fastest slide in the park, soaring 20.3 meters high, can propel riders at the highest speed of 15.2 meters per second into a refreshing splashdown.

Tickets are now available for purchase, with early bird tickets priced at 149 yuan ($20.72), valid for visits between May 31 and June 30. Regular admission is set at 250 yuan, with discounted rates of 170 yuan for children under 1.5 meters tall or under 10 years old, as well as for seniors aged 60 and above.

Since pre-sales began on May 15, over 80,000 early bird tickets have been sold, making the Water World a highly anticipated summer attraction in Shanghai.

This summer, the park promises a series of exciting events, including an aerial adventure challenge, a lively electronic music festival, and performances by renowned DJs.

As a comprehensive resort integrating snow, ice and water activities, the L+SNOW Indoor Skiing Theme Resort has also planned special events for the Dragon Boat Festival, such as snow-covered dragon boat races and hunting for zongzi (sticky rice dumplings), blending traditional customs with the charm of winter sports.
