The Jinqiao Haichang Penguin Resort Hotel, Shanghai's first immersive penguin-themed hotel, opened its doors in Lin-gang Special Area on July 1.

The hotel features 372 family-friendly rooms, each with unique penguin-themed decor, creating a new landmark for family leisure and educational vacations.

The hotel also gives guests the opportunity to see real penguins. This unique concept has proven popular, with over 20,000 room reservations recorded on opening day.
