The deal to build a new Mixc shopping center in Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area was signed earlier this month.

The developers for the new property will include Shanghai Harbour City Development Group, Shanghai Pudong Development Group, and CR Mixc Lifestyle.

The new shopping center will occupy 510,000 square meters, of which 200,000 square meters will be used for commercial purposes.

CR Mixc Lifestyle, which runs 86 malls around China as of the end of 2022, said it will use its experience to boost Lin-gang's commercial dynamism. The company generated over 126.4 billion yuan ($17.3 billion) in retail sales last year.
