Shanghai Xin'gang Middle School is located in the town of Shuyuan, Lin-gang Special Area, in Shanghai.

It is managed by Nanhui No 2 Middle School. It also joins the consortium led by Shanghai East Experimental School. In August 2014, the school joined the education group of Nanhui No 1 Middle School, and it partnered with basic education schools recommended by a school in Finland, promoting cross-regional cooperation and cross-cultural communication.
