Shanghai has recently introduced 29 measures to support the industrial development of Lin-gang Special Area.

With enhanced autonomy for independent development, reform, and innovation, Shanghai aims to propel the construction of a cutting-edge industrial cluster in Lin-gang.

The measures focus on the intelligent car and data industries. More specifically, they provide support for the innovative application of intelligent networked vehicles and the establishment of low-carbon data centers.

Additionally, these measures encourage the construction of vehicle-road-cloud integration systems that will facilitate the exploration of commercial applications and innovations in the autonomous driving sector.

The measures also highlight breakthroughs in talent, land, capital, transportation, education, and medical care supply.

Furthermore, 11 complementary measures have been outlined for key industries, including relaxed access for chemical projects.

These institutional improvements are expected to contribute to the development of innovative clusters in Lin-gang Special Area's emerging and frontier industries, such as digital trade, offshore trade, cross-border asset management, and intelligent connected vehicles.
