To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on Sept 25 this year, Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area has lined up a host of activities for locals and visitors.

At Shanghai L+SNOW Indoor Skiing Theme Resort, Chang'e (a legendary goddess who lives on the moon with her pet rabbit), will appear in China-chic performances, while more than 100 rabbit-shaped snow sculptures will add to the festive atmosphere. 

To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on Sept 25 this year, Lin-gang has lined up a host of activities for locals and visitors.

For another way to enjoy the moonlit season, travelers can visit the Shanghai Astronomy Museum, where an 8K dome theater, astronomical telescopes, and immersive exhibits offer a chance to discover the romance of the starry night sky.

This Mid-Autumn Festival, Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park has another reason to celebrate: its newborn orca will turn 100 days old on Sept 25. Visitors can share in this sweet milestone with the young calf, making the holiday all the more memorable.

Moreover, the iconic Dishui Lake will come alive with a fireworks show and drone performance on Sept 26, while the daily music fountain at Celebration Square will add to the fun.
