Twenty-one themed floats of the Shanghai Tourism Festival will traverse Lin-gang Special Area from 6:30 to 9 pm on Sept 26, bringing a moving celebration of color and creativity to the streets.

A signature event of the Shanghai Tourism Festival, the float parade showcases the city's culture and character while highlighting its international ties.

This year's lineup features floats inspired by local tourist attractions, traditional culture, and technological innovations, including Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park, xiaolongbao (steamed meat buns), and robots.

Lin-gang's own float puts its youthful side front and center, combining the China Maritime Museum, Shanghai Astronomy Museum, and Shanghai L+SNOW Indoor Skiing Theme Resort in a playful showcase. 

Floats from cities such as Suzhou, Ningbo, Nanjing, and Dehua showcase the diversity of China's regions, while the float from Etihad Airways adds an international touch.
