The event convened 170 key members from youth development programs representing more than 70 countries and regions. They were divided into eight groups focused on themes including technological innovation and application, volunteerism and poverty reduction, green development, AI+, lifelong learning and upskilling, trendy culture and youth community, health and wellbeing, and sustainable production.

Each project team is supported by mentors from China and abroad, as well as experts from international organizations, to help advance innovative practices that contribute to sustainable development.

Meanwhile, the participants also gained access to broader resources from investment institutions, incubation accelerators, industries, and social organizations through entrepreneurship salons, case studies, and project roadshow and matchmaking activities.

Amanda Bissex, deputy representative of UNICEF China, noted that China has accumulated extensive experience rooted in local practices and that its high-quality ideas, innovative thinking, and actionable solutions can continue to support the long-term development of youth worldwide.

She encouraged participants to make full use of the event to build connections and exchange ideas, helping youth-led innovation achieve greater scale and deeper impact.
