Lin-gang beckons May Day holiday-goers with tons of fun
With the May Day holiday just around the corner, Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area beckons visitors with an array of activities at its Dishui Lake Square from May 1 to 4.
More than 30 booths will be set up there, offering cultural creative products and foods from around the world. Visitors can choose from among many global flavors, ranging from pastries and sausages to craft beer and tea.
Music lovers can relax to the soothing sounds of the sunset concert, while families with children are sure to enjoy the circus acts, bubble fish parade, and hands-on activities such as windmill graffiti and fuse bead handicrafts (a craft that involves arranging beads into patterns and fusing them with heat).
Moreover, a firework show will be staged at 8 pm on May 2. With no buildings to obstruct the view, visitors will marvel at a sky full of brilliant colors reflected over the serene waters of Dishui Lake.
