Global innovators and tech leaders shine at International Import Expo

The Lin-gang Special Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone is showcasing its highlights at the eighth China International Import Expo.

A total of 78 companies are featured in the Lin-gang exhibition area, involving 16 industries such as integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, service trade, and new consumption. The companies come from 17 countries and regions, including Japan, the United States, Italy, Germany, France, Singapore, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Finland.

In the high-end manufacturing sector, Italy's leading machine tool company PAMA is showcasing the Speedmat boring and milling machine, which is suitable for various processing scenarios. Companies such as Swiss Gudel and Japan's RobotBank are presenting precision instruments, automation, and AI robotics technologies.

In biomedicine, enterprises like Visen Pharmaceuticals are displaying their innovative drugs. In the new energy and new materials sector, a scientific and technological company has brought mobile intelligent charging devices.

Meanwhile, in the field of technological innovation, the UK-based AI company TG0 is showcasing AI applications on various materials such as touch-sensing surfaces and integrated plastic interfaces. Another company, which focuses on high-end storage chips and power device chip design, has brought storage chips with high capacity, performance and reliability, as well as products in the high-power semiconductor field.

Lin-gang's flagship company, Tesla, is showcasing products such as energy storage equipment and a fully autonomous driving vehicle, demonstrating its global technological innovation and future market expansion. Mizuho Financial Group and Hong Kong-based Cyberport are participating in the expo for the second time as a corporate delegation, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and high-quality products of small and medium-sized tech innovation enterprises.

During the eighth CIIE, which started on Wednesday and will end on Monday, companies are debuting exhibits in fields such as high-end manufacturing, biomedicine, new energy and new materials.

Nearly 20 related activities are planned to take place in the CIIE's main venue, involving corporate road shows, product launches, expert talks, and other themed and special events. Related organizers are helping with media promotions, executive visits and online live broadcasts and providing companies and visitors with an efficient and convenient space for negotiations and an optimal viewing environment.
