A promotional event for the civil aviation industry in Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area unfolded in Toulouse, France on March 7, as part of Lin-gang's global investment attraction tour. This marks the first time Lin-gang Special Area has conducted a civil aviation industry promotion overseas.

Over 20 companies from sectors such as civil aviation manufacturing, maintenance, associations, and education, including Airbus, Liebherr, and Eaton, attended the event.

The Lin-gang delegation and the International Aerospace Supply Chain Association (IASC) engaged in in-depth discussions with French civil aviation enterprises on the topic of trade and investment opportunities in the civil aviation industry between Lin-gang Special Area and Toulouse. Representatives from Aerospace Valley, Toulouse Business School, and CIREX shared insights into their core businesses, as well as perspectives on supply chains and industrial chains.

In recent years, China's large civil aircraft project has become a global collaboration. Thanks to its position at the forefront of China's efforts to open up, Lin-gang Special Area, has been able to leverage its superior location, policies, talent pool, and market advantages to attract foreign investment projects such as the Shanghai SAIFEI Aviation EWIS Manufacturing Co Ltd, a joint venture by Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China and Safran Group.
