The 2026 World Top-Performing Incubator Conference has opened in Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area, with a focus on exploring how AI is redefining startup incubation.

Representatives from leading incubators in the Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, and beyond have gathered at the event to share their expertise with Chinese counterparts through keynote presentations, roundtable discussions, and dedicated networking sessions. 

Four parallel forums will cover hard-tech commercialization, life sciences, digital technology, and collaboration between incubators and investors, addressing practical challenges in transforming innovation into real-world applications.

Beyond the exchange of ideas, the conference also seeks to facilitate practical matchmaking through a series of themed activities, including project pitches by young scientists from overseas and the Y-HUB market fair showcasing youth entrepreneurs and startups.

Both international and Chinese guests will visit leading incubators and key industrial parks in Lin-gang to gain first-hand insights into its offshore innovation policies and startup support services, while experiencing the area's vibrant innovation ecosystem.
