A new sports complex will open at the intersection of Yunhao Road and Xueronghua Road Greenland Park in Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area by 2028, with construction expected to begin this month.

The Yunhao Road Community Sports Park will have a total floor area of around 10,000 square meters, of which 6,230 square meters will be above ground and 3,660 square meters underground. With schools, residential communities, and green spaces all nearby, it will help integrate sports and recreation more deeply into residents' everyday lives.

A diverse mix of facilities will be available for people of different interests and fitness levels. Swimming enthusiasts can make use of a five-lane, 50-meter-long standard pool, while the basketball and badminton courts, along with squash and table tennis rooms, will provide plenty of options for a game with friends. 

Those looking to let off some steam can try boxing, bowling, or archery. A comprehensive gym and fitness assessment room will provide dedicated facilities for residents looking to follow a more structured workout routine.
