A delegation from Germany's Schleswig-Holstein visited Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area recently to deepen exchanges and explore potential cooperation in new energy vehicle and smart mobility sectors. 

The delegation visited the Dishui Cloud Hall to gain an overview of Lin-gang's electric vehicle industrial cluster, supply chain ecosystem, and development plans. They also learned about policy support, public services, and the business environment for foreign-invested enterprises through the Shanghai Enterprises Going Global (Lin-gang) service platform.

In addition, the delegation toured several local enterprises and innovation hubs, including SAS Interior Modules, Aqua Drive, Sigenergy Technology, and the China-Italy Lin-gang Innovation Cooperation Park. These visits offered insights into advances in auto parts manufacturing, intelligent connected vehicle R&D, and new energy system applications. 

Discussions with company executives covered cooperation in technology, market expansion, and supply chain integration, with both sides reaching multiple areas of consensus.

As a key hub of Shanghai's high-end manufacturing sector, Lin-gang is accelerating efforts to build a world-class NEV cluster. Following this visit, the area aims to further strengthen exchanges with Germany and deepen practical cooperation in R&D, joint projects, and talent development.
