The Magnolia Awards Ceremony of the 31st Shanghai TV Festival will be held in Lin-gang Special Area on June 26, spotlighting some of the most prominent figures and productions in the Chinese and international television industries.

Among the overseas nominees are mini-series Generations and This is not a Murder Mystery; TV series All her Fault and Rise of the Raven; documentary series Limitless with Chris Hemsworth (Season 2) and Michael Jackson: The Trial; documentaries Child of Dust and The Force of Destiny; and animated works Beastly Crimes and Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld YR 1.

Born to Be Alive, Swords into Plowshares, and This Thriving Land stood out among domestic productions, with each receiving eight nominations.

It is the third time for Lin-gang to host the Magnolia Awards Ceremony, as a three-year cooperation agreement was signed with Shanghai International Film & TV Events Center in 2024.

The Shanghai TV Festival has reinforced Lin-gang's rise as a hub for film, television, and cultural and creative industries. A complete industrial chain, covering content creation, IP commercialization, TV and film production, and global distribution, has taken shape, backed by AI-empowered film and television production platforms, digital production bases, and overseas distribution channels within the area.
