Lin-gang ramps up digital economy cooperation with Uzbekistan
A memorandum of understanding was recently signed between Lin-gang Special Area and Karakalpakstan, an autonomous state of Uzbekistan, to advance strategic cooperation on the digital economy.

Under the MoU, an integrated "computing power + data" cross-border service network will be built, based on the distributed modular intelligent computing corridor developed by Lin-gang enterprise LinkWise in Central Asia.
Combing Karakalpakstan's strategic location with Lin-gang's strength in cross-border data flow, this move represents a step forward in China-Uzbekistan digital economy cooperation — from physical infrastructure connectivity to alignment on rules and standards.
Drawing on this model, mature Chinese applications in AI, cloud services, and digital solutions can be promoted at scale in Uzbekistan and neighboring Central Asian countries, providing a solid digital foundation for the expansion of Chinese enterprises in the region.
Looking ahead, Uzbekistan's Ministry of Digital Technologies will open a permanent branch in Lin-gang for further cooperation in digital cultural integration, joint talent cultivation, and smart city construction.
