The Lin-gang Special Area Administration visited Germany from April 20 to 22, using Hannover Messe as a platform to deepen Sino-European industrial data cooperation.

The visit involved key German industrial and technology platforms. At a dedicated forum titled From Vision to Global Value: Operating and Internationalizing Industrial Data Ecosystems, Lin-gang presented its advancements in institutional innovation, cross-border data flows and the development of an international data infrastructure, highlighting its role as a trusted connector for cross-border data and a testing ground for industrial innovation.

Pan Han, chief strategic officer for international data cooperation at Lin-gang, held focused discussions with data ecosystem Catena-X and digital business platform Siemens Xcelerator, exploring new pathways for compliant Sino-European automotive data cooperation. The talks covered industrial data standards alignment, trusted data processing environments and ecosystem interoperability, laying a foundation for future technological implementation and industrial partnership.

As a frontline platform for China's high-level opening-up, Lin-gang continues to explore compliant models for cross-border data flows. It has established an international data center system physically isolated from domestic internet networks, supported by dedicated zones, compliance mechanisms and computing capacity, enabling the secure and efficient circulation of industrial, automotive, and green manufacturing data between China and Europe.

The engagement further strengthened consensus between Lin-gang and German partners on industrial data compliance, cross-border flow and smart manufacturing cooperation.

Looking ahead, Lin-gang is set to continue to deepen practical collaboration with German industry to support high-quality Sino-European industrial synergy.
