Hailed as the "Silicon Valley of Malaysia", Cyberjaya is a technology hub within the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC-Malaysia), a special economic zone and high-technology business district established by the Malaysian government in 1996.
The proposed center is set to serve as a pilot for international collaboration in the data sector between Lin-gang and Cyberjaya.
The two sides are poised to explore cooperation in four key areas: data flow facilitation, shared computing infrastructure, algorithm and model training and mutual recognition of regulatory frameworks. The initiative is expected to focus on fields such as autonomous driving and embodied AI, while supporting emerging businesses in data processing and data export services.
