The Fourth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was launched on March 20, bringing together districts across Shanghai to drive forward the cultural and creative industries. Lin-gang Special Area is among the participating areas.

The competition adopts a "one district, one track, one distinctive focus" model, with 10 vertical tracks tailored to key industries in each district. Each track is backed by dedicated industrial resources and policy support and will be advanced through thematic roadshows, policy briefings, and project matchmaking.

The "Digital Culture Going Global+" track is hosted by Lin-gang, aiming to boost digital cultural trade and the global reach of Chinese cultural products.

As a growing hub for digital culture, Lin-gang is strengthening its industry ecosystem through platforms such as the Oriental Pearl Digital Film and Television Production Base. To further drive high-quality growth, the area has rolled out 15 supportive policies focusing on overseas expansion, technological innovation, content creation, and film and television production.

Before the competition, districts will offer targeted application guidance, policy interpretation, and on-site industry promotion to help companies find opportunities to establish operations locally. Cross-regional promotion events are also planned in Beijing and other major cultural and creative hubs to enhance resource connectivity.

During the competition, the "Cultural and Creative Industry Shanghai" investment platform will connect projects with investors, cultural industry funds, and financial institutions through roadshows and one-on-one financing consultations.

After the competition, a culturally creative private board meeting mechanism will be introduced to address the primary development needs of winning companies, linking them with enterprises and potential partners.

Award-winning companies will also receive 10 types of dedicated services, including policy support, talent subsidies, incubation, and project showcasing.
