The eighth China International Import Expo (CIIE) commenced in Shanghai on Nov 5. A refreshed Lin-gang Exhibition Area was unveiled at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), venue for the expo.

The inaugural event at this zone was the logo unveiling ceremony of the Japanese SMEs Industrial Park in Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area, drawing over 50 representatives from Chinese and Japanese institutions.

Conceived during the seventh CIIE through a collaboration between Lingang Group and Japan's Mizuho Bank, the park officially opened in July this year, achieving remarkable progress in just six months. It now hosts leading Japanese enterprises like Shimadzu and Tori Dori.

At this year's CIIE, the Lin-gang Exhibition Area features a dedicated area for the Japanese SMEs Industrial Park, showcasing 23 key Japanese companies from a diverse array of sectors, including Shimadzu, Robotbank, and more. The park has also expanded its Enterprise Service Alliance, partnering with top-tier service providers to offer comprehensive support for Japanese SMEs entering the Chinese market.
