Digital comprehensive bonded zone launched in Lin-gang Special Area
A digital comprehensive bonded zone (CBZ) was launched in Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area on Aug 20, as part of the area's sixth anniversary celebration. The zone marks a significant milestone in the digital and intelligent development of the Yangshan Free Trade Zone (FTZ) in Lin-gang, signifying Lin-gang's commitment to driving digital transformation and innovation in the bonded zone sector.
Built upon the data foundation of Lin-gang's integrated information management service platform, the digital CBZ aims to break down data barriers among different departments and empower various innovative business formats to achieve significant breakthroughs.
A group of enterprises, including the Lin-gang Special Area Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Import and Export Service Center, GE Aviation, and Maersk Logistics, has been invited to serve as user experience ambassadors for the platform. These companies will provide practical insights and suggestions for continuous improvement and iteration.
Several international shipping service-related platforms have signed memoranda of cooperation with the digital CBZ. Pilot projects for the classified supervision of cargo status were initiated for companies such as Lindt and Cainiao Logistics at the event.
Relying on the digital empowerment module of the digital CBZ, data connectivity will be achieved among the GSBN platform — a trade data platform — the International Container Transport Service Platform (MaaS) system, and the electronic warehouse receipt management center of CMST Development Co Ltd.
