Lin-gang Special Area to build international sci-tech legal service ecosystem
The 2025 "Belt and Road" International Sci-Tech Legal Services Conference was held in the Lin-gang Special Area, Shanghai, on July 31.
During the conference, the Lin-gang Special Area Administration and the management committees of relevant pilot free trade zones signed cooperation agreements to jointly develop a "cloud legal service zone" to expand the influence of Lin-gang's legal services within the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region and help YRD enterprises achieve stronger development.

A plan for establishing a sci-tech legal service center in Shanghai was released, aiming to build a cross-border service ecosystem that integrates law, technology, and internationalization and break down information barriers obstructing enterprises' overseas expansion through digital means.
A rule-of-law research institute in Lin-gang Special Area was established, gathering high-quality intellectual resources from fields such as industry, law, finance, and services to help enterprises better respond to risks and challenges.
The conference also witnessed the founding of an international economic and scientific organization cooperation and development center, which aims to assist domestic and foreign enterprises in sci-tech cooperation, intellectual property, digital economy, and more by leveraging its global membership network and resource-matching capabilities.
Lin-gang Special Area will continue to focus on the Belt and Road Initiative and create a legal service zone focusing on "international" and "sci-tech" aspects, supporting the globalization of Chinese enterprises.
