CELLBOND is a global leader in the field of automotive passive safety testing from the United Kingdom. Its core products include crash energy-absorbing materials, deformable aluminum crash test barriers, and crash test dummies, which are widely applied in vehicle component testing, occupant safety system evaluation, and passive safety research.

CELLBOND plans to invest 30 million pounds ($39.97 million) in setting up its R&D and manufacturing center for crash test products in Lin-gang Special Area. This collaboration marks a pivotal step forward for the company in deepening its strategic layout in the Chinese and Asia-Pacific markets, allowing it to better integrate R&D, manufacturing, and sales locally.

Lin-gang Special Area is home to over 200 automotive-related enterprises, including more than 50 electronics companies and over 20 software design firms, covering the entire automotive industry chain from vehicle manufacturing, core components and data services to trade and sales.

The partnership will introduce internationally leading equipment production and technology R&D related to automotive testing and certification, forming a closed-loop industry standard encompassing technology R&D, standard formulation, and global certification. It also signifies a new international breakthrough for Lin-gang in the field of automotive passive safety testing.
