Elektrobit, an independent subsidiary of the German Continental AG, is recognized as one of the top three global providers of basic automotive software. It boasts significant advantages in embedded software, AUTOSAR operating systems, and autonomous driving.
This collaboration with Lin-gang Special Area will further deepen its presence in the Chinese market, integrating independent R&D, sales, and management of software.
Lin-gang Special Area is already home to nearly 20 enterprises involved in automotive software, covering key areas such as operating systems, middleware, and application software. Elektrobit's operations in Lin-gang will further strengthen the industrial chain, collaborating with local enterprises and universities to promote a closed-loop operating system ecosystem.
