An increasing number of enterprises have been able to expand their overseas presence thanks to the efficient services provided by the Lingang Special Area "Going Global" Comprehensive Service Platform.

Since it was launched in June last year, the platform has focused on providing efficient and authoritative integrated services for enterprises nationwide looking to expand their overseas operations. To date, the platform has engaged with over 50 international organizations and served 250 Chinese enterprises going global.

Shanghai Conant Optical Co Ltd, a leading resin lense manufacturer in China, planned in September last year to establish a factory in Thailand to strengthen its global foothold. Its plan became reality in less than seven months thanks to the comprehensive services of the Lingang Special Area "Going Global" Comprehensive Service Platform.

Xu Huyin, chief financial officer of Conant, said the platform quickly matched the company with four internationally influential human resource service agencies to address the human resources issues it faced during the preparation phase, efficiently assisting the company in gaining insight into the overseas labor market.

Yin Jun, deputy director of the Financial and Trade Department of the Lin-gang Special Area Administration, said that Lin-gang is home to numerous specialized and innovative enterprises with core competencies in areas such as technological research and development, intellectual property rights, and market expansion.

Yin said that over 300 well-known domestic and foreign service organizations have joined the platform, covering 20 professional fields such as cross-border finance, foreign-related insurance, consultation, and human resources management.

The platform's success is attributed to Lin-gang's policy and institutional advantages, he added.

The platform has also introduced an "AI + Going Global" intelligent solution, which integrates intelligent search and analysis tools with data from professional institutions such as law firms and banks, providing enterprises looking to go global with more refined industry and country-specific risk analysis and compliance process guidance.
