Shanghai, a city that never ceases to amaze, is set to unveil 10 new iconic landmarks by 2025. Among them, two are in the Lin-gang Special Area. Let's take a closer look at what's in store.

Oriental Fantasy

Oriental Fantasy is set to become the first comprehensive tourist destination blending travel, culture, commerce, and performances in the Lin-gang Special Area. The project, themed around the 24 solar terms, spans approximately 120,000 square meters and is divided into six plots along a river.

The project draws inspiration from ancient Chinese mythology, featuring mythical creatures like qinglong (green dragon), baihu (white tiger), zhuque (red bird) and xuanwu (black warrior, tortoise and snake) as its mascots. Installations incorporating elements of the four mascots are expected to attract hordes of traditional Chinese culture lovers.
