Shanghai's Lingang Group made its debut at the ASEAN Conference 2024, sponsored by the Singapore Business Federation, on Aug 29. The group set up a booth to showcase its development strategy, overall situation, and the institutional advantages of high-level openness in the Lin-gang Special Area. During the event, a strategic cooperation memorandum was signed between UOB Group's corporate banking division and the Lingang Group.

Both parties will leverage their respective resources to jointly support the international expansion of enterprises in Lin-gang's industrial parks and strive to promote innovative cooperation between China and ASEAN countries in industries such as the digital economy.

Additionally, 10 enterprises spanning various industries from Lingang Group's affiliated technology parks joined the delegation, with plans to establish overseas technology research and development centers in Singapore within the next two years, as well as expansion strategies in ASEAN countries.

Lingang Group has recently established an industrial platform focusing on cross-border data operations in the Lin-gang Special Area, aiming to fully integrate into the development of the cross-border data industry chain. This initiative will revolve around the initial data list released in the area, collaborating with domestic industry leaders to build cross-border data service platforms in sectors such as internet-connected vehicles, public funds, and biopharmaceuticals.
