The Lin-gang Special Area Administration and Tongji University signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement on May 31 to establish an elite engineering innovation school, Tongji University's Smart Technology Research Institute, and an innovation and entrepreneurship platform in Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area.

During the ceremony, a tripartite agreement was signed by the Lin-gang Special Area Administration, Tongji University, and Shanghai Lingang Special Area Investment Holding Group to co-establish the elite engineering innovation school.

Additionally, the Lin-gang Special Area Administration, Tongji University, Tongji University's Smart Technology Research Institute, and Shanghai Tonggongxing Intelligent Technology Co Ltd signed a framework agreement to construct and implement a new research and development institution in the Lin-gang Special Area.

According to the agreements, all parties will leverage their respective strengths in talent cultivation, technological innovation, and the commercialization of research outcomes in order to achieve this goal. This collaboration aims to foster synergistic innovation and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
