The Lin-gang Special Area Administration signed a strategic agreement on April 25 with SO-IN Network Technology, a company that's been incubated and developed in the Lin-gang Special Area in East China's Shanghai.

Under the accord, SO-IN Technology will establish an AI data labeling center in Lin-gang, aiming to employ 500 staff and managers within the year.

The company will seek to integrate with the construction of the area's international data port – powering cross-border data and large-scale model development applications.

Established in 2017 in Lin-gang, SO-IN Technology utilizes AI technology to assist consumer goods companies in the transformation of offline marketing digitization.

Currently, its business covers over 2,400 districts and counties in 682 cities nationwide, serving more than 220 enterprises in various fields – including fast-moving consumer goods, durable consumer goods, consumer electronics products, smart automobiles and the internet. In 2022, the company expanded into large-scale AI model supply chain data services.

The Lin-gang Special Area has already attracted a group of leading AI companies and people, with its strong computing power infrastructure and established enterprises like SenseTime.
