China Telecom launches liquid-cooled computing pool

China Telecom recently announced the first domestic liquid-cooled 10,000-kilohashes-per-second computing power cluster in the country in Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area.

At the announcement event, eight partners declared their participation as inaugural users of the computing power pool.

Among them were Baichuan AI and AI Speech, from the general language large model sector and prominent players like FinGPT from the financial domain.

There was XBot Space from enterprise-level AI-Agent platforms, innovative biopharma firm Sailong Biotechnology and the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Research Institute – all of them covering fundamental, technological and application layers across the entire AI industry chain.

The newly operational public intelligent computing center boasts fully autonomous and controllable full-stack capabilities. This will ensure security and trustworthiness and be a leader in multiple technical indicators.

What's more, the center offers comprehensive one-stop services ranging from computing power supply, delivery, scheduling to model training and inference applications for large model enterprises.
