A welcoming event for international students recently took place near Dishui Lake in Lin-gang Special Area, Shanghai.

The event brought together over 200 students from Europe and America, along with nations and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. Notably, half of the attendees are pursuing Master's or Ph.D. degrees, representing Shanghai's talent attraction efforts.

The event featured bilingual policy explanations by service specialists, covering topics such as entry and exit facilitation, employment opportunities, and entrepreneurial support for young international students residing in the Lin-gang Special Area.

In a bid to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Lin-gang Special Area, the students embarked on an immersive tour, where they explored landmarks like the Dishui Cloud Hall planning and exhibition center, the Dishui Lake AI Innovation Hub, the renowned Duoyun Bookstore, and the Shanghai Siasun robot exhibition hall.
