The event was attended by Chen Jinshan, director of the Lin-gang Special Area Administration, and Zhao Dong, general manager of China Petroleum and Chemical Corp (Sinopec).

Based in Shanghai, Sinopec Chemical Commercial International Co Ltd is a subsidiary of Sinopec Chemical Commercial Co Ltd. It will handle the international trading of more than 70 product categories, including synthetic resins, synthetic rubbers, and synthetic fibers.

The launch of this project in the Lin-gang Special Area is expected to boost innovation in various industries, expand international cooperation related to energy and chemicals, and strengthen connections between countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

Sinopec is committed to supporting the development of Sinopec Chemical Commercial International Co Ltd in Shanghai and the Lin-gang Special Area, and is aiming to become a leading international chemical trade service provider that plays a key role in the global chemical industry's high-quality development.
