The Shanghai Municipal People's Government recently released a set of guidelines to develop production-based internet service platforms in the city's five major areas – Pudong New Area, Baoshan's Wusong Innovative Hub, Putuo's parts of Suzhou Creek, the Lin-gang Special Area of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District, effective for three years from Jan 15, 2025.
