Tailored policies and services supporting startups, supply chain development, cross-border and inclusive finance, and employee housing were introduced at the event.
The park is a strategic initiative by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government within the Lin-gang Special Area, aiming to leverage the area's institutional openness and create a cooperation demonstration zone between China and Japan featuring industrial cooperation, innovation resource integration, and in-depth people-to-people exchanges. There are currently 147 Japanese-funded enterprises in Lin-gang, including over 30 physical enterprises, forming a thriving industrial ecosystem for Japanese-funded enterprises.

Looking ahead, Lingang Group will be responsible for the overall development, construction, and operational services of the industrial park. The park will feature a comprehensive enterprise service center, scientific and technological incubators, shared office spaces, product exhibition and roadshow areas, private enterprise offices, and various amenities, providing one-stop integrated services to facilitate rapid market entry for Japanese SMEs in China.
