Storage specialist establishes Shanghai headquarters in Lin-gang Special Area
The Shanghai headquarters of Longsys — an innovative memory solution manufacturer — officially opened in Shanghai's Lin-gang Special Area on Aug 26.
With over 500 R&D and operational staff moving in, the project is a major addition to Longsys' global layout. The Shanghai headquarters will focus on critical storage businesses such as enterprise-level and automotive-grade storage, laying a solid foundation for the company's global expansion of high-end storage business.

Covering an area of about 9,300 square meters and a total construction area of 43,000 sq m, the headquarters can accommodate more than 1,000 R&D engineers. Positioned as an R&D center for high-end chips and storage products, the building is equipped with multiple frontier R&D areas and professional labs as well as cutting-edge facilities.
The first flagship store of Lexar, a high-end consumer storage brand by Longsys, opened within the headquarters building. A storage culture museum is being planned, aiming to offer visitors unique experience.

Since initiating its self-developed chip plan in 2020, Longsys has successfully launched six self-developed controller chips, covering mainstream and high-end products like eMMC, SD cards, and USB mobile storage. All have achieved first-pass success.
Additionally, the company has independently designed multiple Flash storage chips, with cumulative shipments of self-developed SLC NAND Flash exceeding 100 million units in 2024.
