The list of Shanghai's top 50 most promising startups for investment in 2024 was announced at the Shanghai International Private Equity Forum on Dec 10. Three companies in the Lin-gang Special Area made the list.

Among the three companies, Shanghai Bangxin Semi Technology Co Ltd is committed to providing cost-effective semiconductor equipment for the integrated circuit (IC) and pan-semiconductor industries. The company specializes in four major fields, including compound semiconductors, ICs, packaging and testing, and panels.

Another company making the list is Shanghai LEDA Technology Co Ltd, which was founded in 2020. Its core team is composed of scholars and senior technical experts from home and abroad, with an average of more than 20 years of experience in theoretical research, technological development and commercialization in Electronic Design Automation tools.

Shanghai Guanlian Technology Co Ltd, established in 2021, is also on the list. The company has developed a high-performance distributed serverless AI computing cloud platform tailored to startups working with large AI models, providing cost-effective, flexible, and user-friendly AI services.
