Leading Shanghai industrial park developer Lin-gang Group signed a strategic agreement recently with listed power generation equipment manufacturer Shanghai Electric Group Co Ltd.

Under its terms, they will boost the development of the modern industrial demonstration zone in the Lin-gang Special Area in East China's Shanghai.

They will join forces in various fields – including the optimization of real estate resources, a smart park and smart energy – to expand the overall construction of Ling-gang Special Area.

Furthermore, they will carry out urban renewal projects in Shanghai and undertake measures to promote the transformation and upgrading of key industries in the Ling-gang Special Area.

What's more, they will extend their existing cooperation in the field of green new energy and build a benchmark digital low-carbon demonstration park.

This is expected to contribute to the building of Shanghai's science and innovation center and improve the functions of five "new cities" in suburban areas.
