With the advantages of a cluster of world-class enterprises, innovative policies and systems as well as open application scenarios, the Lin-gang Special Area – located in East China's Shanghai – has gathered a number of AI enterprises including autonomous driving, intelligent terminals, AI chips and data services.

Well-known entrepreneurs and experts were invited to share their insights and advice about the AI industry to coincide with the start of operations of the Dishui Lake AI Innovation Hub, which is expected to accelerate the development of the AI industry in the Lin-gang Special Area.

Our automobile project was launched in Lin-gang during an intelligent new energy automobile industry project signing ceremony in May last year.

Three months later, we signed a memorandum of understanding to set up a production and research center there for our smart cockpit support project.

We attach great importance to the Lin-gang Special Area and hope to build our largest global base here for the development and export of automotive intelligent cockpit products.

At the very beginning, what attracted us were the original equipment manufacturers in Lin-gang. Industry leaders are among our customers, undoubtedly as it saves our logistics costs and improves our supply chain stability.

It was during the operation of the debut project that we got to know more about the Area and discovered more of its advantages.

The synergistic effect of industrial clusters is undoubtedly one of them. This stems not only from the automobile industry itself, but also from the other two industries that Lin-gang focuses on – integrated circuit and AI – which are also beneficial to our business.

The upcoming launch of the Dishui Lake AI Innovation Hub shows the importance Lin-gang attaches to the AI industry.

In fact, our factories have gone far in digitalization and we plan to set more production lines in the fields of automotive electronics in Lin-gang.
