Several exciting artificial intelligence facilities – covering algorithms, robots and the cloud – debuted at the Global AI Developer Conference, or GAIDC, held in the Lin-gang Special Area in East China's Shanghai on Feb 25-26.

The Shanghai International Algorithm Innovation Park, the Shanghai Smart Robot Manufacturing Innovation Center and the SenseCore AI Cloud made their first appearance at the conference.

The new SenseCore AI Cloud, developed by Hong Kong-listed SenseTime, is said to offer an inclusive and easy-to-use AI platform. It is expected to boost industrial intelligence upgrades and create new commercial value for AI.

In addition, the Chinese community of LF AI & Data – an umbrella foundation of the Linux Foundation – has moved to the area. It has been joined by the Open Metaverse Foundation of the Linux Foundation, CSDN and the DeepModeling open source community, which have settled in the Lin-gang Special Area as the first batch of developer communities.
