This year marks the fifth anniversaries of both the Lin-gang Special Area and the Oriental IC Port. The IC industry, a central focus in Lin-gang, has experienced rapid growth during recent years. Taking the industry's output value for example. Lin-gang-based enterprises above the designated scale, those with an annual main business income of 20 million yuan or more, increased their output value from less than 300 million yuan in 2019 to nearly 20 billion yuan in 2024. The area is also home to over 80 companies involved in various aspects of IC equipment and consumables, making it a crucial hub for the industry.
