IC firm EDRI moves to Lin-gang marine innovation park

IT Electronics Eleventh Design & Research Institute Scientific and Technological Engineering Corporation Limited – also known as EDRI – and Shanghai Lin-gang Ocean New & Hi-Tech Industry Development Co Ltd signed an agreement on July 12.
EDRI is a big engineering technology service provider – based in Chengdu, capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province – is engaged in engineering consultation, designs and general-contracting. Shanghai Lin-gang Ocean New & Hi-Tech Industry Development Co Ltd, meanwhile, built and operates the Marine Hi-Tech Innovation Park in the Lin-gang Special Area in East China's Shanghai city.
Under the agreement, EDRI will invest over 30 million yuan ($4.44 million) to build a plant in the park, to complete a supply chain for integrated circuits and biomedicines there and help expand the development of the IC industry.
The company will give full play to its high-tech ventures in the fields of professional engineering and technical services such as IC, biomedicines and in photovoltaic new energy.
It is expected that the company will help introduce more than 100 IC industry personnel and its annual output value will hit 100 million yuan annually there, while the annual tax contribution will reach 10 million yuan in the future.
