Shanghai ChemPartner Pharmaceutical Development Co Ltd signed up with Shanghai Lingang Fengxian Economic Development Co Ltd on Sept 6 to build a Contract Research Organization or CRO services platform for small molecule drugs in the Lingang Life Science & Tech Park, in East China's Shanghai city.

The first company is a subsidiary of ChemPartner Group. Headquartered in Shanghai, ChemPartner has research institutes, laboratories and production facilities in the United States, Denmark, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Shanghai and in Chengdu – capital of Sichuan province – as well as in Guangzhou and Jiangmen cities in Guangdong province. Its sales network is spread across five continents.

The Lingang Life Science & Tech Park is a biomedicines-based industrial park in Shanghai. It has attracted many leading biotech companies.

These include Tellgen, TopAlliance, Wuxi AppTech, Celgen Biopharma, OBiO, Dragon Sail Pharmaceutical and Zhenge Biotech.
