Some 261 apartments for professionals based in the Jinqiao Lin-gang Smart and Hi-tech Industry Park recently opened in the Jinqiao Lin-gang Comprehensive Area – located in the Lin-gang Special Area in Shanghai.

The apartments have an area of 27 to 75 square meters and come equipped with bathrooms, digital TV, high-speed internet and are also furnished.

In addition, each floor of the apartment blocks is equipped with a communal area, which provides microwave ovens, dining tables, dining chairs and other facilities.

In order to meet the needs of residents in the park, the first retail outlets operating there – the Bailian EGO Supermarket and Hot-spot Restaurant – opened for business on June 25.

Phase II of the Jinqiao Lin-gang Smart and Hi-tech Industry Park is scheduled to be completed next year. It is expected that more commercial and catering facilities will be built to meet the needs of the 20,000 employees who will eventually work in Phases I-VI of the park.

The construction of commercial residential buildings, schools and hotels in the Jinqiao Lin-gang area will also start construction later in the year.
